Tampa Bay Blues Festival

These days, everyone is in love with pop, rock, hip-hop music, and as wonderful as that music may be, the blues will forever remain a classic. Listening to blues doesn't always have to be a bummer. As a matter of fact, one great way to relax and be calm is to listen to these types of music. Just wait 'til you get a taste of the Tampa Bay Blues Festival. 

For three consecutive days, you get to enjoy listening to blues at bay. The event takes place every month of April in downtown St. Petersburg.  Aside from the amazing vocals, you can also sample various local treats in the area that features Cuban cuisines, barbecue, seafood, and many more. 

Spring King of the Beach Fishing Tournament

We're not sure if some of the best seafood cooking in the world came from Russia, but we know that the people from St. Petersburg are pretty fond of fishing activities. So it's really not much of a surprise that they hold some of the biggest fishing tournaments every year. It's the same thing every year. The event starts on a Thursday and ends on a Saturday, which is when the winners get to show their fish and claim their grand prize. If you plan to bring kids with you, you can also take them to the waterfront, where there will be a kids fishing slam.
